Answer to Question 1

Rabbit production is an ideal enterprise for a young person because it can be started with limited
capital. With only a small investment in housing and equipment, a person with one pair of rabbits can
produce 50 to 60 rabbits each year to eat or to sell. Because they are small and generally accepted by
people, rabbits are better adapted for production in suburban/urban areas than most other types of
animals.

Answer to Question 2

A young pigeon that has not left the nest is called a squab. When a pigeon is used for meat, it is
processed before it learns to fly, and the meat is called squab. It is usually considered a delicacy meat
served in restaurants.
