Stressful conditions for trees and shrubs include air pollution, drought, heat, wet soil, infertile
conditions, heavy shade, full sun, insects, and diseases.



Answer to Question 2

In general, flowering plants should be pruned just after they bloom, or produce flowers. This is done
so that the next season's flowering wood is not cut off.
