Answer to Question 1

ANS:
For a motion to be discussed by the group, at least one other member must be willing to have the motion discussed. That second individual expresses this willingness by saying, Madam/Mr. President, I second the motion.



Answer to Question 2

ANS:
An executive meeting is a meeting of officers to conduct organizational business between the regular meetings.
