A high school student can prepare for an agriscience career by:
1. Enrolling in agriscience classes, including plant science, animal science, agricultural mechanics, agribusiness, and farm management
2. Enrolling in college-preparatory and/or dual-enrollment courses in English, math, and science
3. Joining the FFA organization and participate in leadership, citizenship, and agriscience activities
4. Developing a broad, supervised, occupational agriscience experience program
5. Acquiring hands-on, skill-development experiences
6. Conducting an agriscience research project and entering it in the FFA Agriscience Scholarship and Agriscience Fair programs
