Answer to Question 1

Aluminum is made from sodium aluminum through a smelting pot. Aluminum comes from bauxite ore.
Aluminum is one of the most common metals known on earth. Because of its availability, light weight, heat
reflectivity, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity, aluminum is often used in place of steel. Aluminum
accounts for about one-seventh of the earth's core and is found in many forms.

Answer to Question 2

Brass is a mixture of zinc and copper. It is used in devices, such as musical instruments, that require a hard,
noncorrosive alloy. Bronze is a mixture of tin and copper. It is used to coat other metals to prevent corrosion
