Geothermal energy is obtained from tapping underground heat in volcanically active areas. The main problems
with geothermal energy are the location of plants and the fact that the minerals in the steam are hard on machinery

The major concerns with nuclear power plants are the fear of explosion, the fear of contamination, and the disposal
of radioactive wastes.
