Sustainability is a concept rather than a movement. Sustainability involves the principles of wise use, just as traditional
conservation did, but it adds the corollary that wise use should not totally exhaust a resource. The so-called
green movement is an offshoot of the sustainability idea, but it is an activist movement rather than a concept
