 Plowing the soil to loosen it and removing any large objects uncovered during the
plowing operation
 Running soil analysis and adding organic matter or sand, depending on what is
needed
 Installing irrigation and drainage systems
 Deciding on proper placement of nursery crops based on the final size of the plant
