Answer to Question 1

Caecilians are worm-like in appearance. They do not have limbs and are usually without sight. They burrow
into the decayed material on top of the soil and into the soil. They vary in length from 3 to 59 inches, and
they have tentacle-like structures on their heads that enable them to find their way in their tunnels



Answer to Question 2

(a) Gymnophiona, which is made up of worm-like amphibians called caecilians
(b) Caudata, which is made up of newts and salamanders
(c) Salientia, which is made up of frogs and toads
