affect horticulturists include the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical, Leave
Act, the Farm Labor Contractors Registration Act, the H2-B program, the Immigration
Reform and Control Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), the Pesticide
application certification (Environmental Pesticide Control Act), the Plant Patent Act, the
Plant Pest Act, the Price and Services Act, Social Security, Unemployment compensation,
the Warranties Act, and Workmen's compensation insurance. It is important to be aware
of these and local and state laws to make sure your new business is in compliance.

site's size, natural features, zoning regulations, utilities, access, Compatibility with
