Answer to Question 1

Three ways to obtain capital for a business are:1.
Use your own money or that of other people
2. Borrow money from a lender
3. Use the return profits from the existing business as capital

Answer to Question 2

It is important to perform a market survey prior to investing money and time in a new
business to ensure enough people want the products or services of the business and
have the money to pay for them. Knowing this information ahead of time will help you
know if the business has a chance of succeeding.
