Answer to Question 1

Numerous flowers are used in floral design, including carnations, baby's breath, roses,
and mums, to name a few. Massing and line flowers are generally used to establish the
outline of a design, while filler flowers tie arrangements together and cover the foam and
container. Form flowers provide a focal point.



Answer to Question 2

A ribbon accent is a ribbon loop with a tail that is used to accent a design with color and
texture
