Answer to Question 1

Answers will vary, but may include white pine, Scotch pine, English boxwood, Douglas
fir, noble fir, balsam fir, Norway spruce, Blue Colorado spruce, eastern red cedar, holly,
rhododendron, yew, seed pods, pine cones, spruce cones, oak acorns, walnuts,
shellbarks, pecans, and filberts

Answer to Question 2

Peanuts are actually a seed of a legume, and not technically a nut. Unlike other large nut
crops that grow on trees, peanuts grow on annual plants that must be started from seed
each spring.
