The majority of commercial nut crops come from in the U.S. come from California; other
nut-growing states include Georgia, Texas, Oregon, New Mexico, Alabama, North
Carolina, Virginia, and Oklahoma



Answer to Question 2

The four most profitable nut crops in the U.S. are almonds, English or Persian walnuts,
pecans, and peanuts.
