Similar to narrowleaf evergreens, broadleaf evergreens are often used around
foundations and borders. They are also used as specimen plants and to form hedges, and
as understory plants in a woodland setting

The main cultural requirements of broadleaf evergreens are ample moisture, good soil
drainage, mulching, shelter location, and ample sunlight.
