Answer to Question 1

It is necessary to properly sterilize containers, medium, and a planting area before
planting Easter Lilies or other plants to prevent disease.



Answer to Question 2

To control pests when growing chrysanthemums, prevent them by following good
sanitation and cultural practices. Insects may be controlled with an emulsifiable
concentrate spray; fungus is controlled with a recommended fungicide
