Flower production in the United States is concentrated in areas where the climate is best suited. The most popular areas are Florida and California because of the warm climates.
Colorado and the New England states heavily produce flowers that require a cooler
climate. Bulbs, such as tulips and daffodils, require cool summers and mild winters,
which make Washington, Oregon, and California more suitable for producing these.
