There are several reasons why cut flowers are grown in greenhouses. First is
temperature. In order to induce plants to form buds, then flowers, they must have a
certain range in temperature. Inside a greenhouse, the temperature can be controlled
very well. Another reason is moisture. Plants for cutflower production must have the
right amount of water. Plants grow well in the controlled environment of a greenhouse.
