Answer to Question 1

methyl bromide, 1, 40, 1-2, 1-2, 3, and 7-10.

Answer to Question 2

It eliminates the necessity for a steam source. Disadvantages include the
long period of time required for penetration and aeration, incomplete kill of some
pathogens such as verticillium wilt of chrysanthemum, toxicity of the chemicals to
humans, toxicity of chloropicrin to any plants in the greenhouse where it is used,
and the toxicity of methyl bromide to carnations later planted in the treated
substrate.
