Answer to Question 1

Light soil is one that contains a significant amount of sand. Heavy soil is one that contains a significant amount of clay.

Answer to Question 2

Compost, peat moss, sawdust, wheat straw, manure, bark, leafmold, rice hulls, sewage sludge
