Answer to Question 1

Insect screening prevents the entry of flying insects into greenhouses,
which may reduce the frequency of pesticide applications and thus selection
pressure. This may lower the potential for resistance developing in insect pest
populations. Furthermore, insect screening may reduce the incidence of viral
diseases, which are vectored by certain insect pests.

Answer to Question 2

Parasitoids, predators, pathogens, and entomopathogenic nematodes.
