Answer to Question 1

More uniform growth occurs across the greenhouse due to more uniform
distribution of light. Light intensity impinging on the crop is lower which reduces
heat build-up in the tissue. This allows for less shade on the greenhouse during
bright periods of the year, thus more plant growth.

Answer to Question 2

Hammered glass, light diffusing polyethylene, and light diffusing
polycarbonate panels.
