You can minimize damage caused by hydraulic fluid spills by immediately pouring activated charcoal on the spill. For extensive spills, after charcoal or a similar organic absorbent material is applied and worked into the turf, you may have to remove the turf with a sod cutter and re-establish fresh sod.
