Answer to Question 1

Measure and mark off 1,000 sq. ft. After trial and error using water, uniformly spray the area twice applying 1 gallon in one direction and 1 gallon at right angles to the first. Calculate the rate per acre by catching the spray from the nozzle

Answer to Question 2

Nozzle flow rate, ground speed, and effective sprayed width per nozzle. To calibrate and operate a sprayer properly as they affect sprayer output.
