Answer to Question 1

IPM can be defined as the optimization of pest populations through economically and ecologically sound management. IPM uses multiple tactics compatible in keeping pests managed below the aesthetic injury level while minimizing hazards to human beings, domestic and wild animals, plants, and the environment.
