Answer to Question 1

4. Join the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA).

Rationale:
The NSNA is an organization specifically for student nurses with a goal of assisting the student to foster their professionalism. Nurse practice acts do need to be read by students, but they denote laws, not professionalism. The ANA is practicing nursing, not students, although students may join. The NSNA focuses on students and is a better resource. The Internet is good for obtaining information and for networking but is not necessarily a help to the student who wishes to increase professionalism.

Answer to Question 2

1. How to use a sign board
2. Transfer techniques
4. Time adjustment to complete activities

Rationale:
The left cerebral hemisphere is responsible for the language center, calculation skills, and thinking/reasoning abilities. Reading and speaking could be compromised if there is left-sided brain damage. The client also might display over-cautious behavior and might be slow to respond or complete activities. Transfer techniques would apply regardless of the side involved. Impulse control problems can arise with right-sided involvement. Nutritional support may or may not be an issue with this client.
