If we know the sample variance, can we use that information to find the sample standard deviation?
 
  a. Yes, simply take the square root of the variance to find the standard deviation.
  b. Yes, simply square the variance to find the standard deviation.
  c. Yes, simply divide the variance by N to find the standard deviation.
  d. No, it is not possible.

Question 2

To determine the range, we simply
 
  a. subtract the highest score minus the lowest score.
  b. subtract the lowest score minus the highest score.
  c. need to know the lowest and highest scores.
  d. average the lowest and highest scores.
