Answer to Question 1

D
The lithotomy position is used for performing an examination of the female genitalia and vagina. The supine position is for assessing the head, neck, anterior thorax and lungs, breast, axillae, heart, abdomen and extremities. The prone position is used to assess the posterior thorax and lungs and the hip. The Sims' position is used to assess the rectum and vagina.

Answer to Question 2

C
Martha Rogers's theory states the person is a unified whole and is seen as greater than the sum of the parts. The unitary person is an energy field characterized by pattern and expressing qualities that are unique to the whole and cannot be foreseen from knowledge of the parts. The environment is also an energy field identified by pattern and integral with a given human field.
