Betty insists that ratio scales are the only measurement scales that contain the number 0 . Is she correct?

Answer to Question 1

Technically, Betty is only partially correct. Only ratio scales contain a true zero where the number 0 really means nothing is present. However, the number zero could be used in an interval or even nominal measurement--though this wouldn't reflect a true zero.
