Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

B
The loss of some muscle tone in the bladder and urethra can result in incomplete emptying of the bladder. In older adults, renal function is often affected by diminished blood flow to the kidneys as a result of arteriosclerosis, hypertension, and other cardiovascular disorders. The glomerular filtration rate slows and there are fewer functioning nephrons. The aging body loses some of its functional ability to adapt to changes in total body water, which is essential for metabolism. Older adults are more sensitive to fluid and electrolyte imbalances.
