Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

C
Engle proposed three stages of mourning: shock and disbelief, developing awareness, and restitution and resolution. Lindemann's theory contains the concepts of somatic distress, preoccupation with the image of the deceased, guilt, hostile reactions, and loss of patterns of conduct. Worden identified four tasks that an individual must perform to successfully deal with a loss: accept that the loss is real, experience the emotional pain of grief, adjust to an environment without the deceased, and reinvest the emotional energy in another relationship. Kubler-Ross identified five stages of death and dying to include denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
