Answer to Question 1

B
Continuity and change are present in developmental transitions in late adolescence, early adulthood, and adulthood. In late adolescence-early adulthood, the struggles of autonomy versus attachment to parents are reaching resolution and maturity. Peer pressure diminishes as the complexity of individual identity becomes clearer and is achieved. The major task of this period is preparing for the assumption of adult responsbilities.

Answer to Question 2

D
Ageism is a social stigma against older adults. The elderly male might feel discriminated against or anxiety. There is no other evidence to suggest the elderly male is experiencing chronic low self-esteem.
