Answer to Question 1

B
When measuring a client for proper crutch safety and comfort, the crutch pad should fit approximately 1-1/2 to 2 inches below the axilla to prevent pressure on the radial nerve.

Answer to Question 2

B
Rh incompatibility occurs when an Rh-negative client becomes pregnant and has an Rh-positive fetus; Rh antibodies are produced and will destroy fetal red blood cells if there is a mixing of fetal and maternal blood. RhoGAM is given to an Rh-negative mother who is not sensitized within 72 hours of the birth. RhoGAM may also be given at 28 weeks.
