Answer to Question 1

A
Pleural effusion occurs as the result of pleural inflammation (pleurisy), which accompanies health problems such as tuberculosis, lung cancer, or trauma. The pleural fluid secreted into the pleural cavity compresses lung tissue and can cause atelectasis if untreated.

Answer to Question 2

D
When gathering supplies for making a bed, they are gathered in the order of bottom sheet, draw sheet, protective pad, top sheet, and pillowcases.
