Answer to Question 1

A
Record the administration of each medication on the MAR immediately after administration. Never document that you have given a medication until you have actually given it. If you ever have questions about a medication order, contact the health care provider immediately to verify the order before giving your patient the medication.

Answer to Question 2

C
The goal of patient education is to assist individuals, families, communities, or populations in achieving optimal levels of health, safety, and independence. The goal of patient education is not to reduce the legal liability, teach English, or make decisions about the different types of medica-tions.
