Answer to Question 1

1
Rationale 1: CAMRSA remains sensitive to several oral antibiotics, including Bactrim and clindamycin.

Answer to Question 2

3
Rationale: Signs and symptoms of infection are often subtle in the newborn, beginning with poor feeding, lethargy, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. As the day progresses, the infant might show temperature instability or respiratory distress. GI symptoms do not necessarily indicate an infection of the GI tract.
