The nurse is caring for an adolescent admitted with a fractured femur who was placed in traction several days ago.
 
  The nurse prepares to perform an initial assessment, and walks into the client's room to find him dyspneic and reporting severe chest pain. The nurse suspects the client has developed: 1. Pneumonia.
  2. Pneumothorax.
