Answer to Question 1

A
The first step in assisting a client with meditation and breathing is to position the client comfort-ably. The components of meditation are simple: a quiet space, comfortable position, receptive attitude, and focus of attention.
A quiet space is required, not necessarily a warm environment.
The first step is not to have the client close his or her eyes, but to get in a comfortable position in a quiet environment. Furthermore, the client does not have to close his or her eyes to meditate and breathe.
The first step is to assist the client into a comfortable position, not to note areas of tension or pain.

Answer to Question 2

B
A description of the clients used is found in the Methods section of the research study.
The Introduction section presents the purpose of the study, a summary of the literature, and the hypotheses tested or questions posed.
The Results section contains a description of the results obtained in the study, including the ap-propriate statistical tests used to analyze the data.
The Clinical Implications section will explain if the findings from the study have clinical impli-cations and how to apply these findings in a practice setting.
