Although a student knows how to use a computer, this knowledge may not directly translate so that the student is able to accurately document in any particular institution. A person needs to be taught the specifics of each system. A student who understands that even though the system has been taught to him also knows that the instructor will be a resource for EHR questions that may arise. The EHR generally integrates information to be used by the healthcare team. Data can be collected and analyzed multiple ways to evaluate and improve patient care.
