Answer to Question 1

ANS: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6
Most medication companies deliver medications in a form ready for use. Dispensing the correct medication in the proper dosage and amount and with an accurate label is the pharmacist's main task. The pharmacist also provides information about medication side effects, toxicity, interac-tions, and incompatibilities. Client education is not a collaborative action provided by the phar-macist; client education is a nursing responsibility.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: 1, 2, 4, 5
After medications are metabolized, they exit the body through the kidneys, liver, bowel, lungs, and exocrine glands.
