Answer to Question 1

ANS: D
A side effect of glucagon is nausea with vomiting. This position will prevent the patient from choking and aspirating.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: D
PTU blocks the synthesis of thyroid hormones and also reduces peripheral conversion of T4 to T3. By inhibiting the synthesis of thyroid hormones, PTU reduces the signs and symptoms of hyper-thyroidism.
