Answer to Question 1

Beautifully done Thanks

Answer to Question 2

ANS: D
Some medications are given together on purpose because the drug interactions are helpful. Probenecid is given with penicillin to elevate and prolong the blood levels of penicillin. Probenecid does this by blocking penicillin's elimination pathway via the kidneys (by inhibiting renal tubular secretion). Maintaining high blood levels of penicillin is important in treating venereal disease.
