Answer to Question 1

ANS: B, C, D
Fever, myalgia, and lymphadenopathy are early signs associated with HIV infection.
Respiratory distress and insomnia are not consistent findings on the initial phase of HIV infection.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: C
Because amprenavir contains high levels of vitamin E, much more than the recommended daily allowance, the patient should be warned against taking vitamin E supplements.
Calcium, vitamin D, and thiamine supplements are not contraindicated for patients taking amprenavir.
