A patient with Parkinson's disease who is taking levodopa experiences dizziness when getting out of bed. The nurse should instruct the patient to:
 
  1. try to sleep sitting up.
  2. use a potassium supplement.
  3. decrease the levodopa dose.
  4. try increasing salt and water in the diet.
