Answer to Question 1

1, 2
Rather than memorizing all the different units, most hospitals, clinics, and offices have basic ref-erence pharmacologic texts with information on conversion from one system to another. You should also do the following: (1) master the most familiar units system, (2) learn equivalents in two systems, and (3) know where information is found rapidly.

Answer to Question 2

4
Diabetic patients should avoid drinking alcohol, because it can intensify hypoglycemia produced by insulin, causing blood glucose levels to fall too fast.
