Answer to Question 1

D
Trimethobenzamide can be used as an antiemetic in patients treated with apomorphine. Serotonin receptor agonists (eg, ondansetron) and dopamine receptor antagonists (eg, prochlorperazine) cannot be used, because they increase the risk of serious postural hypotension. Levodopa only increases nausea and vomiting.

Answer to Question 2

B
Angioedema is a potentially life-threatening reaction to ACE inhibitors. If a patient has exhibited this reaction with any ACE inhibitor, he or she should not receive ACE inhibitors again. The nurse should hold the medication and notify the provider. Fosinopril is an ACE inhibitor and should not be given.
