Atropine is not used for muscle relax-ation; it is an anticholinergic drug used to control secretions during procedures. Rocuronium is eliminated by hepatic metabolism. Vecuronium is excreted in bile and can cause prolonged pa-ralysis in patients with liver dysfunction.
