Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Aldosterone, also released with adrenal stimulation, retains sodium and water and causes the excretion of potassium in the urine. As water is retained, sodium is also retained, therefore increasing serum levels. Chloride levels are unlikely to change significantly. Calcium is not involved.

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
The limbic system is an area of the brain that contains high levels of three neurotransmitters: epinephrine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. Stimulation of this area appears to be responsible for the expression of emotions (e.g., anger, pleasure, motivation, stress).
