Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Repeated use of antacids can result in rebound acid production because more gastrin is produced when pH of acid level decreases. Patients should be taught that long-term use of antacids requires follow-up care. Calorie and fluid intake does not need to be reduced because it is important to maintain nutrition, especially if diarrhea occurs. Antacids are taken at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after any other drug or meal.

Answer to Question 2

Feedback:
The recommended schedule for the MMR is the first dose between 12 and 15 months and the second dose between 4 and 6 years. The schedule for inactivated poliovirus is 2 and 4 months, between 6 and 18 months, and between 4 and 6 years. Immunization for Haemophilus influenzae is 2, 4, and 6 months and between 12 and 15 months. The schedule for hepatitis A is between 24 months and 18 years of age.
