  value of the estimated standard error of difference.

Question 2

A researcher selects a pair of random samples and predicts beforehand
  that Group 2 will score higher than Group 1. The scores in Group 1 are 11, 10,
  8, 3, 7, 1. The scores in Group 2 are 12, 11, 8, 4, 9, 2.
